Panagbenga, Baguio's Pride, Philippines 2011
Panagbenga Festival in Baguio, Philippines which happened on February 26 and 27, kicked off with streetdancing in Session Road. Panagbenga Festival showcases the rich culture of the Cordilleras with several tribes and villages joining in the streetdance.
The experience is surely an unforgettable one for visitors as colorful costumes and flower floats parade in full regala.
The Benguet, Bontoc, Kalinga-Apayao and Ifugao tribes presented dazzling costumes and dancing skills as they show off their unique cultural attributes to the delight of thousands of local and foreign tourists.
The following day, the float parade took place, which culminated at The Oval in Burnham Park where the beautiful and awesome floats stood side by side.
